For 30 years I had strong beliefs about many aspects of the Psychiatric field.... I felt that diagnosis of Depression and Anxiety were over used and that many people are over medicated.... For 30 years I believed that psychiatric medications were only for the weak... not the strong and resilient people like myself.... Until the one day my body and mind betrayed me.... The one day that I will never forget, that led me down a path straight into Hell... and during that long winding road down, and my slow but steady climb out, I have gained new beliefs... and learned new things about myself and my body.... and through it all, I now feel stronger then ever.
